Holiday Workshops

Join us for an amazing experience during the School Holidays

We are not very good at sitting still at Star Steppers and we really miss seeing the kids in school holidays so we always host workshops in half-terms and school holidays. We regularly invite industry professionals to run workshops and these are always really special and exciting. To work with professional West End performers and learn original choreography from West End productions is such a magical opportunity.

We work closely with Reigate and Banstead and Sutton Councils to provide dance and musical theatre workshops for the local community too. These are always really fun and give us the chance to meet and work with lots of new, creative young people.

Our holiday workshops are fantastic activities for regular theatre / drama students as well as those wanting to simply try something new. The workshops range from a few hours in a morning or afternoon to a 2-3 day workshop developing a range of skills in preparation for a final show at the end of it.

Reigate Summer School

30th July - 1st August 2025 - Reigate Methodist Community Centre
FULL DAY (6yrs +) 10am - 3pm OR
HALF DAY (3-5yrs) 10am - 12pm

This year's Star Steppers Summer School is going to be AMAZING! Each day will be packed full of fun, singing, dancing, acting and games!

WED @ 10-12pm – 3-5yrs
WED @ 10-3pm – 6yrs+
THURS @ 10-12pm – 3-5yrs
THURS @ 10-3pm – 6yrs+
FRI @ 10-3pm – 6yrs+

Price:
FULL DAY (6yrs+) – 3 Full-Days @ £80 / 2 Full-Days @ £55 / 1 Full-Day @ £33
HALF DAY (3-6yrs) – 2 Half-Days @ £28 / 1 Half-Day @ £15
Discounts available for two Siblings / bring a non-star-steppers-friend on request.

Extra Info: Please wear comfy clothes that are easy to move around in (avoiding skirts/dresses!) with jazz shoes, trainers plimsolls or barefeet. We would recommend children bring a drink and a little snack for half-day workshops and a packed lunch and drink for full day workshops. (Please ensure no food brought in contains nuts!)

The Dance Project

Suitable for 11yrs+
Saturday 9th August 2025 @ 1.30 - 4.30pm
Sunday 10th August 2025 @ 1.00 - 3.30pm
Very Yoga Studio, Bell Street, Reigate, RH2 7AD + Film Location in Reigate

In August we will be hosting a dance fusion workshop based on the dance styles of contemporary dance, street dance and hip hop. The workshop will be taught by the very talented, Lana and Cian, who both teach at Star Steppers and have choreographed many show numbers. Both Lana and Cian are very skilled dancers, extremely creative and have an amazing passion for dance. They will bring all their energy and expertise to deliver a most exciting dance project.

Within the workshop they will teach you a dance routine, combining contemporary dance, street dance and hip hop styles together to create a dynamic dance piece, that will then be filmed to create a dance video.

This is a great opportunity to learn new dance styles, challenge yourself, enhance your dance technique and meet like minded people.

SUN @ 1.00-3.30pm

Extra Info: Please wear clothes appropriate for dance; joggers, leggings, dance shorts, TS and trainers. Drink and a snack (no nuts please!). Both Hannah and Anna will be there to supervise.
